HAWAIIAN SWEET BREAD (CANYON BAKEHOUSE) // REVIEW //
sucks ☐ / passable ✓ / great ☐ / perfect ☐
So I really like bread.
Especially bread that doesn’t SUCK.1 This bread doesn’t suck. It is perfectly edible sandwich bread.
Would I yell about how awesome it is? Do my eyes sparkle when I see it? Well, no. It’s really, solidly passable though. A completely GOOD experience, for when you think to yourself, “gee, I’d like some bread that actually TASTES LIKE BREAD and doesn’t fall apart.”
pros: doesn’t fall apart. tastes like bread. makes good sandwiches.
cons: just not that exciting?
I like to toast bread when I eat it. This bread toasts really nicely, as you can see on the picture. just… so toastable, you know? but what’s better than it’s toastability, imo, is that it’s STILL EDIBLE when you don’t toast it. As advertised, it’s just very faintly sweet, with like, a pleasant taste if you choose to eat it untoasted, and all by itself with nothing on it.2
It’s the size of most gluten free bread, that is to say, small-ish. And if you toast it and let it sit in the toaster for a couple of minutes3 it gets sad and unpleasant. so don't do that, okay?
yeah so… that’s all i’ve got to say about it. makes good sandwich bread. worth buying.
WHERE TO BUY: online or in some regular supermarkets.

most gluten free bread sucks. in fact, most gluten free bread doesn’t even deserve the name “““““bread””””” … it’s more like… a bread-shaped structure that tastes like cardboard. something inedible or worse,,,,,, something that tastes WEIRD, or even worse than that, something that has the texture of either a dry crumbly mess or a spongy horrible sponge. yuck.
why would you do that? well idk, but it’s happened before when i was in a hurry
like a distracted person…
