AMY’S TRADITIONAL REFRIED BEANS // REVIEW //
sucks ☐ / passable ☐ / great ✓ / perfect ☐
is perfect refried beans even a thing? idk… anyway these are great. Refried beans can go in anything, burritos, nachos [great in nachos, yum] and HERE’S THE THING. some refried beans…. SUCK.
yeah it’s true, i don’t know how they manage it, but some refried beans just taste ick! which is flabbergasting to me. But Amy’s Traditional refried beans are great because they’ve already been seasoned with things like onions and garlic and some other stuff. nice.
Now who, you may ask, eats completely plain refried beans?1 not me obviously actually that’s not true even if you do such a silly thing you should also add salt and pepper. so basically:
► have you ever seen such a pretentious picture of plain refried beans i have not. Amazing what sticking something on a cutting board and in a crème brûlée dish will do. (i didn’t do it for that reason though actually I just wanted to heat it up in the toaster oven and those dishes are toaster oven safe and then you know it’s hot on the bottom when you take it out.)
cons: no cons. it’s refried beans
WHERE TO BUY: online or in supermarkets.
***general disclaimer. check certification & ingredients, use your judgment. not everything I review is certified
spoiler it was me. yeah i was lazy and there were some left over and it was lunch time… so…
lol.
(what part do you think the beans will audition for? ;-)
